Belkin Mouse Trap Problem With Belkin Omniview SOHO Computer Switch And Windows Vista, Losing Mouse And Keyboard When Switching.

Problem with Belkin Omniview SOHO computer switch and Windows Vista, losing mouse and keyboard when switching. - belkin mouse trap

I have shown a Belkin OmniView SOHO KVM Switch (here: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=160623). I use two computers, an old Windows XP computer, and a new HP 64-bit system (dual Xeon quad core, 4GB RAM, Vista Business Edition). I have the keyboard and the mouse ran into the switch, because the video is better than all the inputs detect the KVM, so that made the use of monitors in step to change that to "see.

When I switch between XP and Vista, XP computer will works fine. However, about half the time, the transition to XP computer, then back to the Vista PC, the Vista team does not recognize the mouse and the keyboard replaced. Sometimes the computer, if long enough (wait half an hour to an hour to realize), but above all I Hardboots machine does not lose stored information.

I read in several similar situations, a couple who are on Yahoo Answers, but none of their solutions.Every time I run on Vista if the computer is on the computer, but it happens all the time. I have tried turning off the computer and again, but in vain. I have (my energy settings for the USB Root Hub USB Root Hub does not lapse into sleep mode which was not significant, but somewhere, someone suggested the problem.) Nothing is there.

It cost me much time and trouble. Has anyone any idea how to stop this? Is there a way to force to upgrade to Vista, or search for hardware changes faster without connected keyboard and mouse? Thank you.
